Claims Assistant
Provides administrative support to the Claims Department
As a Claims Assistant, your responsibilities will be:
Provides administrative support to the Claims Department. Performs activities in the claims process such as:
- Supporting in the registration of claims.
- Channeling calls from insured, cooperatives, employers, COSVI regional offices and Exclusive Authorized Representatives.
- Handling control of claims material expenses, check cancellations and processing requests for Unclaimed Benefit Funds.
- Sending correspondence, benefit checks and quarterly and annual forms to employers.
- Responsible for the Payroll System Attendance Record (ADP).
- Digitizing area documents, among other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Office Systems or related areas from a recognized and accredited University or College.
- No experience required.
- Mastery in the management of computer systems including Microsoft programs.
- Mastery in the management and use of the keyboard.
- Mastery of verbal and written Spanish. Basic knowledge of verbal and written English.
